Benjamin Netanyahu Undergoes Successful Surgery
Tel Hashomer, Israel – July 16, 2023 – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been discharged from the hospital following a successful pacemaker implantation procedure. The 73-year-old leader underwent the surgery on Monday and has made a swift recovery, according to his medical team.
Netanyahu, who has served as Prime Minister of Israel since 2009, was taken to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer on Monday morning. The procedure, which involved the insertion of a small device to regulate his heart rhythm, was deemed necessary after Netanyahu experienced some irregularities in his heartbeat.
Following the surgery, Netanyahu remained in the hospital overnight for monitoring and observation.
